2 28-oz. cans whole tomatoes, chopped and with their liquid
Directions
In a large pot, bring 4-6 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tbsp of salt to boiling water (optional).
Add Veggiecraft Farms spaghetti, cook uncovered for 7-8 minutes (cook to desired tenderness, but DO NOT OVERCOOK), and stir occasionally.
Strain spaghetti in colander and continue with the remaining recipe steps.
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the onions, bay leaves, oregano, garlic, and salt and cook until the items are soft (stirring often).
Add the tomato paste and continue cooking for around 3 to 5 minutes.
Then, add the canned tomatoes and stir constantly until the sauce begins to boil.
Lower the heat and simmer for 1 hour, stirring often to prevent the sauce from burning.
Taste and season with additional salt, if desired. Remove the bay leaf before serving, and add basil leaves for garnish. Serve warm with Veggiecraft Farms pasta and enjoy!
