Heat the oil over medium heat in a large sauté pan or large pot.
Add the shallots, salt, and teaspoon pepper. Cook and stirring often until the shallots soften.
Add the asparagus, pasta, water, and peas. Cover and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to simmer, stirring until the pasta is just tender.
Remove from the heat once there is a small amount of water left – only enough to create a sauce. Stir in the lemon juice and zest, parmesan cheese, and butter. Serve warm with Veggiecraft Farms pasta and enjoy!
