VEGGIECRAFT FARMS IN THE NEWS
If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you know that Expo West is one of my favorite events of the year. I was a featured blogger for the show for five years in a row, and this year I wrote an article for New Hope (the company that puts on Expo West) on how brands can optimize their social media for the show. Sadly, the show was postponed days before it was supposed to launch in response to the global COVID-19 situation. I was (and still am) so heartbroken about the show being postponed. It is truly one of my favorite events of the year. I feel awful for the brands that had been setting up in the convention center only to find out the show was postponed. There were supposed to be over 100,000 attendees at Natural Products Expo West. I know this was a difficult decision for New Hope to make, and I applaud them for prioritizing everyone’s health and safety. After all, the natural products industry is an industry that’s focused on health and well-being.
I know this decision has impacted everyone from startup founders, investors, buyers, retailers, distributors, bloggers, influencers, press, and more. My heart especially goes out to new and emerging brands who were planning to debut their products at the show. Learning about new brands is always one of my favorite parts about Expo West. I love meeting founders, hearing their stories about their “aha” moment or why they decided to start their business, and sampling their products. I’ve put together this “Virtual Expo West 2020” list of brands who were planning to be at Expo West this year with their awesome new products.
Normally I sample brands before I write about them, but in this case I only have tried or sampled a few of the products listed below. I hope to try them all soon. I’ve broken down the list by category. If the products are for sale on their website or Amazon, I’ve listed it below as well. Enjoy!
I was really excited to learn about these plant-based pastas. They are certified gluten-free, vegan, kosher, dairy free, and non-GMO. They are made with three simple ingredients: cauliflower flour, lentil flour, and pea flour. I am receiving samples soon and can’t wait to try these out. They are available now at 2.8K+ stores nationwide, including Albertsons Companies grocers, Walmart, Sprouts, Wegmans and Hy-Vee stores, as well as online at veggiecraftfarms.com and Amazon. ::
